Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the American is an actor comedian, activist, and actress. She was born to Jewish parents from the Soviet Union and started her career as a child actress when she moved to the United States. In AT&T commercials, she played the role of Lily Adams (saleswoman) from 2013 until 2016 and into 2020. She was a regular host on Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also had a recurring role as a character in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub has also voiced Squirrel Girl on the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after being selected to play the character in the unaired TV pilot for New Warriors. Vayntrub is an Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native, and also an American Jew. She and her parents left antisemitism at the age of two. They moved to West Hollywood. At the age of five she started appearing in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was partly due to financial struggles in her family. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School. However, she quit school after her sophomore years. She earned the GED and obtained an undergraduate degree in Arts (Communication) from University of California San Diego. She learned how to perform improv from the Upright Citizens Brigade.
